This calculator gauges a couple's compatibility using numerology. For each birth date it derives a life-path number — the key figure obtained by adding up the digits of the day, month and year and reducing them to a single number from 1 to 9 (or to a master number 11, 22 or 33).
By comparing the two partners' life-path numbers, the calculator returns a compatibility percentage and assigns it to one of three levels — high, medium or low. How is compatibility by birth date calculated?
For each birth date a life-path number is derived: the digits of the day, month and year are added together and reduced to a single number from 1 to 9 (master numbers 11, 22 and 33 are kept). The two partners' numbers are then matched against a numerology grid, and the calculator returns a compatibility percentage and a level — high, medium or low.
What is a life-path number?
The life-path number is the core number in numerology, calculated from a full birth date. It describes a person's basic character, strengths, goals and way of relating to others. These are exactly the numbers the calculator uses to assess a couple's compatibility.
Does low compatibility mean the relationship is doomed?
No. A low percentage only indicates that the partners have different rhythms and priorities and will need to communicate more consciously. Plenty of couples with 'low' numerological compatibility live long and happy lives — numbers set tendencies, not verdicts.
Do I need to enter names or birth times?
