If the track is longer than the slideshow, the extra is trimmed. If it is shorter, the music simply ends before the video does.
About making a video from photos
The slideshow is built right in your browser with ffmpeg.wasm: your photos play one after another in the order you arranged them, each staying on screen for the time you picked. The result is a regular MP4 with H.264 video that plays on any phone or computer and uploads to any social network.
Photos of different sizes are fitted into the chosen format with padding around the edges instead of being stretched, so faces and objects keep the proportions of the original shot. Landscape suits YouTube and TV, vertical fits Shorts, Reels and stories, and the square format works for feeds.
Your photos and music are never uploaded to a server — everything is processed locally on your device, so personal pictures stay with you. On the first run the browser downloads the engine once (~32 MB) and takes it from cache afterwards.

Frequently asked questions
How do I make a video from photos online?
Add your photos to the tool, arrange them with the arrows, choose how long each frame stays and pick a video format, optionally add music and press “Build video”. In a few seconds you get a ready MP4 with a download button.
Can I add music to the slideshow?
Yes. Press “Choose a track” and pick any audio file — MP3, M4A or WAV. If the track is longer than the slideshow it is trimmed to the video length automatically; if it is shorter, the music just ends before the last frame.
How many photos can I add?
Up to 40 images at a time. The limit exists because the video is built inside your browser — with more frames a tab may run out of memory on a weaker device.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Both the images and the music are processed locally in your browser, so the files never leave your device. That makes it safe to build slideshows from personal or family photos.
What format is the video?
MP4 with H.264 video at 30 frames per second and AAC audio. Such a file opens on any phone or computer and is accepted by every social network and messenger.
Why are there black bars around my photos?
Photos come in different proportions while the video has a single format. We fit the whole frame and add padding at the edges instead of stretching the image — otherwise faces and objects would look distorted.
