About the court fee calculator
The state fee is a mandatory payment for filing a claim in a Russian court. Its amounts are set by the Tax Code: article 333.19 for courts of general jurisdiction and justices of the peace, and article 333.21 for arbitration courts. A new version of these articles (Federal Law 259-FZ of 08.08.2024) has been in force since 8 September 2024, significantly raising the rates and changing the claim-amount scale.
The calculator uses the rates effective in 2026. Choose the court, the claim type, and, where applicable, enter the claim amount. For non-property claims, appeals and cassation complaints the fee is fixed and depends on whether the filer is an individual or an organization.
For property claims the fee follows a progressive scale: a fixed part plus a percentage of the amount exceeding the lower bound of the bracket, capped at the statutory maximum (900,000 ₽ in courts of general jurisdiction and 10,000,000 ₽ in arbitration). How much is the Russian court fee in 2026?
It depends on the court and claim type. A property claim in a court of general jurisdiction starts at 4,000 ₽ (claim up to 100,000 ₽) and rises along a progressive scale up to a 900,000 ₽ cap. How is the fee calculated by claim amount?
Property claims use a progressive scale: a fixed sum plus a percentage of the part of the claim amount exceeding the bracket's lower bound. The calculator shows the formula used under the result.
