Profnastil Calculator
Calculate corrugated sheet for roof and fence: panel count, length, coverage area. Supports C8, C20, NS35, N60 profiles.
Length along the ridge (excluding overhangs)
Distance from eaves to ridge along the slope plane
Useful (covering) width of the selected profile — 1.150 m
Vertical sheet overlap in cm. Roof typically 15–20 cm, fence 10 cm
Calculation formula
sheets = ⌈length ÷ useful width⌉; sheet length = surface width + overlap ÷ 100
First, divide the surface length by the profile's useful (covering) width and round up, then add the overlap in meters to the slope drop or fence height.
About the profnastil calculator
This calculator estimates how many corrugated sheets you need for a roof or fence based on surface dimensions and profile grade. It uses each profile's useful (covering) width — slightly less than the total width because the edge wave is consumed by the side overlap between adjacent sheets.
Pick a mode (roof or fence), enter the surface length, slope drop or fence height, the profile grade and the vertical overlap. The calculator returns the sheet count rounded up, the length of one sheet including overlap, and the total coverage area.
Calculations run entirely in your browser and are meant for a quick procurement estimate. Before placing an order, confirm exact dimensions with the supplier — most factories cut sheets to your length to minimize joints and overlaps.

FAQ
What is the difference between C8 and C20 profnastil?
C8 is the cheapest wall-grade profile with an 8 mm rib height — used for fences and wall cladding. C20 is stiffer thanks to its 20 mm rib, suitable for taller fences, walls and gentle outbuildings. For a residential roof, however, you should choose NS35 or N60.
What is the minimum roof pitch for profnastil?
C8 needs about 15° minimum, C20 starts at 8°, and NS35 / N60 work from 6–8° provided the seams are sealed. The lower the pitch, the larger the overlap and the stricter the requirement to seal joints with mastic or sealing tape.
How many self-tapping screws per profnastil sheet?
On average 6–8 roofing screws (4.8×35 mm with EPDM washer) per m² for roofing — fixed in every other rib at each batten — and 5–6 screws per m² for fences. A standard 2 m sheet usually takes 12–16 screws.
Which color and coating to pick?
Colors are referenced by the RAL chart: popular fence shades are RAL 8017 (chocolate), 6005 (moss green) and 3005 (wine red); roofing favors RAL 3011, 6020 and 7024. Polyester (PE) coating is the cheapest and lasts 5–10 years; pural and plastisol last 15–25 years and resist UV fading.
